RDBMailPDF Worksheet Template for Excel/Outlook 2007-2010
Download Install file (version 2.0)
First Unzip the xlsm file on your desktop.
When you open the xlsm file it will automatic install the sheet template in the correct folder for you.
After you installed the Template you can :
Right click on any worksheet tab in every workbook you want and choose Insert.
Select "RDBMailPDF Outlook.xlt" and press OK to insert the worksheet in your workbook.
In the RDBMailPDFOutlook worksheet there is a Table with the following fields.
You will use one row in the Table for each mail you want to create
Send: yes or no
Sheets: Enter the sheet names you want to mail separated with Alt Enter or enter "workbook"
if you want to send the whole workbook without the RDBMailPDFOutlook worksheet.
File Name: Enter the prefix for the file name (date/time and extension will add automatic)
To: Enter the mail addresses here separated with Alt Enter
CC: Enter the mail addresses here separated with Alt Enter
BCC: Enter the mail addresses here separated with Alt Enter
Subject: Enter the mail subject here
Attach other files: You can use a button to select the files you want to attach to the mail
Body text: Enter a short body text and separate every line with Alt Enter
Importance: Enter yes if you want to set Importance to high
Note: because it is a Table you can enter "yes" in column A on a new row and the
new row will have a nice format and the data validation when you select a cell in the new row.
Read the Data validation tips good when you select a cell in the "RDBMailPDFOutlook" worksheet.
Note: You can change cell C3 to "No" if you not want to preview the mails before sending.
What is Alt-Enter ?
You see that if you want to enter more then one sheet, mail address or body line you must
seperate each entry with Alt Enter so it will be on a new line in the Cell.
If you want to send for example three worksheets you do this
1: Select cell in Sheets column
2: If needed press the delete button to clear the cell first
3: Enter the first sheet name
4: Press Alt Enter
5: Enter the second sheet name
6: Press Alt Enter
7: Enter the third sheet name
8: Press Enter
Now you see each sheet name on his own line in the cell
